Our Community Involvement

Ever since Joseph Marrone was a young boy growing up in Philadelphia, he always had a strong support system consisting of friends and family. These relationships helped him develop a passion for the legal field and pursue his ambitions. It’s because of the extensive mentorship he received as a child that the values of humility and compassion became instilled in him, fueling him to give back to his community.

Since leaving law school, he has built a well-known reputation as an accomplished criminal defense attorney and litigator. Today, Joseph Marrone is the proud founder of Marrone Law Firm, LLC.

Putting Our Best Foot Forward

Joseph Marrone understands the importance of community and supporting one another in times of need. As he reminisces on his childhood, he is grateful for all his role models who pushed him to achieve his goals and guided him through critical phases in his life. Marrone Law Firm, LLC strongly believes in the idea of paying it forward and will continue to strive to uplift local communities, support youth, and influence positive change in the legal system.

Second Justice: Giving Those Wrongfully Convicted A Second Chance

The United States Justice System isn’t always fair. One decision can change the course of someone’s life for the worse. Second Justice is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing legal resources and services to victims of injustice in the legal system. Second Justice collaborates with communities, legal experts, and policymakers to promote legal reforms to ensure fairness and equality within the justice system. The organization has been successful in its efforts to exonerate individuals exploited due to racial discrimination, wrongful convictions, and lack of access to legal services.

Through serving on Second Justice’s Board of Directors, Joseph has supported Second Justice’s mission to assist individuals wrongfully convicted, advocate for positive reforms in the system, and promote vital legal principles of fairness and equality by offering his legal services to those without a voice.

Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence: Mentoring Our Youth

Protecting and supporting our youth is essential to building healthy, sustainable communities that contribute to an overall progressive society. We can do this by investing in our children’s well-being and education, nurturing their talents and aspirations, and encouraging them to be their best self. Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and empowering children to achieve their dreams and become the successful individuals they were meant to be. This occurs through one-to-one mentoring. By allowing children to meet new people and learn their backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences, they can develop bigger goals for themselves, gain confidence, and avoid mistakes that could distract them from their aspirations.

Joseph Marrone’s commitment to mentorship is demonstrated through his 27 years of being a Big Brother. In fact, his Little Brother of 26 years, Brian D. Marchese, became an attorney at Marrone Law Firm, LLC. Marrone supported Marchese and guided him through college, law school, and even now into his law career. BBBS ultimately recognized his devotion to supporting his community and selected him to join the Governing Board of Directors for the organization’s Independence region in 2017.
